Microsoft Aware of Xbox One Twitch Broadcast Problems

Microsoft is aware that Xbox One users are experiencing problems while utilizing Twitch to stream games on the console.

The story is too old to be commented.

The Twitch app has been a little spotty for me, if I may be honest. I ran into an issue at one point where after stopping a broadcast, I wasn't able to "Record That" because it was telling my Xbox that it was still broadcasting. For someone who wasn't terribly taken by the Twitch concept in the first place, it was quite a buzzkill.

In fairness, however, these problems don't seem very widespread; this is the first thing I've seen on any of it. Hopefully they get it sorted out soon.

This is how you get it to work. First, go to the twitch website and unlink your xbox one.
Second, delete the twitch data from the manage app screen.(From everywhere)
Third, uninstall the twitch app.
After you uninstall hold your xbox power button for 10 secs.
Turn it back on and set twitch up again, after you finish setting it up again hold the power button for 10 sec again.
Bam Twitch will be smooth like butter.

I will definitely try this.

My problem is that my connection goes to hell when I broadcast. I have 25/5, but when I'm broadcasting, I only have 1 bar on the connection display with spotty lag. Might need to play with the settings, but I can stream with my capture device at the same settings with no problem.

I haven't yet been able to broadcast. It tells me I must have adult settings on but my settings have always been set to unrestricted. Idk what to do.

Had the same problem. Had my content set to friends only, changed to everyone, golden.
