Titanfall: A Great Game With A Lot More Potential

Titanfall is a fantastic first-person shooter. Since I played the beta back in February, I was pretty well convinced that it would be the next big shooter in my life, succeeding fantastic games like CoD4: Modern Warfare, Red Orchestra 2 and Call of Duty 2. After a weekend of playing the final build, I can say without any shadow of doubt that Titanfall is one of the best FPS games I’ve played for a long, long time. Saying that, there are a fair number of issues I have with the game; although perhaps issues isn’t the right word, as they’re less problems with the game, more elements that the game is missing. In short, Titanfall is a fantastic game that should could keep me entertained for a long while, but it’s so easy to see that there is much, much more potential in what Respawn have created. (PC, TitanFall, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

I can't wait to see what they do with future Titanfall games. The potential is definitely there. I would say that Titanfall is already that "3rd" pillar in the FPS genre joining COD and BF.

Agreed, although I can't help but feel as though Respawn and/or EA has held back on content for the exact purpose of making future games and DLC more appealing.

Wait til Titanfall 2 comes out. That game will be epic.

Titanfall 1 is already epic. Haven't you seen the reviews? And if it helps, I own the game and love it too. On PC so I can speak about the MS consoles.

Campaign could be epic, imagine fighting those giant monsters in the background with 4 titans in co-op. That would be something.

No SP was a missed opportunity.

they still need to fix the frame drop.

That is a console issue, not a game issue. When TF releases on PS4, we will see it as it was meant to be for consoles.
