No New Toki Tori Due to Toki Tori 2+ Sales

"Two Tribes has continued to support the Wii U through the releases of the original Toki Tori, Rush, and Edge, but this news indicates that the company was hoping for higher sales. Whether the Wii U version of Toki Tori 2+ underperformed, or the PC version did, it seems like Toki Tori will be disappearing for a period of time" -- Nintendo Enthusiast. (PC, Toki Tori 2, Wii U)

Toki Tori 2 is a nice game, but it gets a bit hard too soon to be a hit in my opinion. It also lacks multiplayer which seems to count much on WiiU. I wouldn't abandon the franchize though. It definitely has potential. Everybody seems to like the character.

I agree. I loved the game to a point. Then suddenly it became too hard, and I couldn't figure out what to do.

It's good, but I would prefer a linear approach through the game. Wandering around doing the same puzzles over and over again trying to figure out where to go is not my cup of tea. I found it annoying. The puzzles were great though.

I bought it a long time ago. However, the game seems too exploratory for me. I love exploring, but it's not like you're walking in a constant direction like Mario. You're basically free to go anywhere in this 2D world, and everything looks almost identical, so if you come back and play after a few weeks or months, you have absolutely no idea what to do. It's a beautiful game, though.
