Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Review | Hardcore Gamer

"Whether or not this brief glimpse into the future of Metal Gear Solid is worth 20 or 30 bucks is up to you, but Ground Zeroes displays the biggest evolution of the series seen since the original Metal Gear Solid on Playstation, even if that evolution only lasts for a short, fleeting instant." (Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One) 4/5

Finally, some more honest reviews. This game is fantastic -- who cares if it's short? I've paid $30 for an IMAX 3D movie and those are no more than two hours.

It's not the same thing though is it? This is clearly no more than a demo of what will be a brilliant full game.If people are genuinely happy to pay this for a half hour long go at a game the we're going to end up seeing even worse money making tactics from software houses than we already see.

we don't need this "demo" to show us that ,its already happening. People are not looking at the whole game , they just see the main story fastrun and say that's it? it took me 2 hours to complete in normal and without being seen and collecting everything and that gave me 10% completion , i still have all the other mission to complete , Like ChaosKnight said 30 is not bad for what you get

@2pac

The same people complaining that this game is too short are probably the same ones who complained that the MGS 4 cutscenes were too long. It's how the world works.

You people keep judging this based on the completion time of one mission. The game has more than one mission.

The value is there. You just have to know how to experience. If you rush through your games than it is kinda stupid I think.

I try to soak in every little detail.

The game is great. For $30 (or $20 if you got it digitally), it's worth it and is as advertised...which was a taste of what's to come. I still haven't even completed the mission where you destroy the anti-aircraft weapons or got to the secret mission. I know I'm re-playing all the missions.

But basically, if you want a sample of MGS now instead of waiting another year on top of the five years we've already waited, get it. If you can wait then just wait if you don't want to just spend the $30/$20.
