Nintendo shutting down Wii & DS Online -Updated-

While the Wii and DS didn’t exactly have what most would call a robust online experience, it did come with a good few games that had online capabilities. Nintendo has announced, on its website today, that it was going to be shutting down the online component of the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS game systems, along with many of its games on May 20th 2014.

I bought a Wii U and bought tons of old games I haven't played in years and quit a few Wii games I never played.

Makes sense, nintendo is struggling right now so shutting down the wii games that ppl even play online will make people go and buy a wii u and the new mario kart and super smash brothers

Nintendo is thriving a lot more than Sony or MS are right now.

Nintendo is growing, the others are shrinking the game divisions.
