5 Ways Titanfall is Not Like Call of Duty

Bill Lavoy (Prima Games): Considering Respawn Entertainment’s Vince Zampella played such a huge role in creating the Call of Duty franchise, it’s no surprise people compare Titanfall to Activision’s enjoyable first person money maker. Not long ago, we posted all the similarities between Titanfall and CoD. For some, that might be all the convincing they need to buy the game. For others looking for something new and fresh, here are five ways Titanfall is unique. (Call of Duty: Ghosts, PC, TitanFall, Xbox One)

"5 Ways Titanfall is Not Like Call of Duty"

Please allow me to give 5 reasons.
1. The Call of Duty campaign is much, much better than whatever you wanna call the campaign in Titanfall.

2. The Call of Duty AI is levels above in skill and game playability than the Titanfall AI.

3. Kill streaks. Call of Duty has them Titanfall has nothing.

4. Call of Duty is a game for gamers with at least a skill level or 2 above NOOB level. Titanfall is a good training game for those that are noobs or lack the skill to play Call of Duty.

5. Sales! Millions upon millions purchase Call of Duty each year. Titanfall was billed and hyped as the Call of Duty killer. Titanfalls first attempt at being a Call of Duty killer has been a EPIC FAIL!

6. Millions play Call of Duty everyday. Microsoft is begging people to play Titanfall just for 1 day.

7. Game Modes. Call of Duty has many Titanfall does not.

8. Call of Duty "IS" Call of Duty. Titanfall wants to be Call of Duty but "IS" not!

Oh wait! The list was for 5 ....though I could go on and on.

The hate is strong with this one.

Let me help you with your list:

1. COD campaign is a joke. No one buys COD because the campaign is amazing.

2. Does COD even have BOTS? And the bots are for people who suck at games or casual so they can feel like they are helping the team.

3. Kill streaks, benefit those who play the game 24/7. Yea, lots of fun having a team constantly calling in choppers.

4. COD is not for skilled players, please stop telling yourself that.

5. COD is a major franchise around for years, on every gaming platform. So of course it's going to sell more. Are you retarded?

6. Once again, COD is on millions and millions of consoles. X1 has about 3.5 million consoles. And who are they begging? Your reaching big time its pathetic.

7. 6 games modes, what more do you want?

8. Titanfall isn't even like COD, unless you classify FPS, fast paced action = COD, in that case there are a lot of COD games

COD does have a Botzone. Also, Titanfail is not for skilled players either, so stop telling yourself that. Stop apologizing. If Titanfail shipped with one map and two guns, you'd defend to the death. Blind fanboyism at its finest. COD is Titanfail and Titanfail is COD. The robots don't make it a brand new game.

I can see why you got one bubble. Butt hurt, hardcore Sony fanboy. Jealous much? Only those who are jealous would call a game Titan fail. Check the sales, yea....its really failing.

"Drop a Titan on it", really is this the best shooter ever? I dont even like Call of Duty, but at least it has a story. But Titanfall is a perfect game never the less below 1080p, frame drops, bots, no story, and all. I would say Halo was, is the best all day over this.

Titanfall vey cool sci-fi new FPS IP. Not doubt.
CoD series it is a military FPS. Titanfall not CoD "killer". Two are different universe and styles.

New CoD arriving this year, may cause pleasant surprises, everything though from a viewpoint.
