In the 21st episode of GO!, the first person to kill a shark wins this week's sticker.
Shark Attack Deathmatch (80 MSP) pools together a checklist of inherent awesome (FPS! Sharks! Harpoon Guns! Blood!), set in a breathtaking underwater world that must be seen in order to be appreciated, and hands you the keys to the liquid kingdom. It seems like a can’t-miss concept. In truth, it’s almost all downhill after the game starts.
EDGE: "Facing nature’s greatest predator alone in the singleplayer Survival mode is an even more frightening experience. Orchestral stabs alert you to a shark’s presence but not its location, precipitating a frantic 360-degree spin that commonly ends with a screen full of teeth and blood. After several hours, such jolts lose a little of their potency, but the purity of these ideas touches upon something primal that recalls our early dalliances with Doom."
Justin Ross from TMSGamer reviews the shark-themed deathmatch game from the Xbox Live Indie Game service. Is it a fun experience full of underwater killers, or does it flop like a dead fish?
