VRFocus - Sony has showcased its God of War franchise running in virtual reality (VR) at the its GDC Presentation in San Francisco. The demo was reportedly a first-person showcase that put players in the shoes of series protagonist Kratos. A violent demonstration of what was possible in VR then followed on.
Recent findings in the latest PSVR2 software update, indicates that PlayStation is already starting to implement support for PC.
The icing on the cake would be if Sony / Valve allow for a Steam Link app much like it is for the Quest 3. Likely wishful thinking, though.

I would prefer Sony to focus on new IPs specifically with VR in mind rather than converting 3rd person games into 1st person. however, it is probably the option with less risk and cost if VR isn't successful.
How does VR look and feel with anything that isn't first person? I mean god of war is a classic third person hack and slash, does everything with VR have to be in first person? Some one mentions last of us. How would cut scenes look? Would it be weird?
Fallout, elder scrolls, driving games, mirrors edge, outlast... im all for games that already use 1st person, but I dont think id like playing 3rd person hack n slash with vr...
