8 new Batman: Arkham Knight screenshots have been released. The game is scheduled for release worldwide in 2014 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Fantastic :) Glad to see Barbara Gordon back as the Oracle Have they ever made her walk again in the comics...it would of been great to play Batgirl in this game. Suppose they could do it with the challenges.
Yup she's back on her feet(pun intended). He new Batgirl comics are pretty awesome.
If that's the case, it'll be nice to see Batgirl back in action. I also really like her as Oracle, so hopefully she'll get both duties within the game.
She's actually been walking for a while now. Ever since the New 52 relaunch. I thought Oracle was a much better character though.
Are these in game!? Consider me more hyped.
Could be. We got promo shots for Arkham City that were similar and looked like this: http://www.blog.gamedruid.i... So... maybe, hopefully? But the character close ups are definitely custcene quality. If you've played the previous games, you'll know what I mean.
@shin It looks like that on PC. Usually companies with multiplat show the best version. Which is LWAYS PC unless it's a bad port.
thats what i was thinking. it looks like a painting
Riddler looks like The Medic from TF2 in those Screens. "Zis... is unacceptable Batman!"
Is it just me but the graphics look more last gen. Lets hope the gameplay is more impressive than the graphics.
Donman- You're seriously saying that this looks "last-gen"? As in Xbox 360 or PS3? http://image.noelshack.com/... Perhaps last-gen for PC gamers, but if these graphics are for PS4 and Xbone, they're definitely far better than either of the last-gen consoles could do.
Thats one damn impressive looking game.
This game looks open world. Is it going to be?
Yes. It's 5 times bigger than Arkham City.
Omg can't wait. Cruising in that bat mobile.
is it me or rocksteady changed the art style to be more realistic?
Of course. Because it was "sexist" for her to retain any permanent injuries from a point-blank bullet to the spine.
Lets not forget this takes place in the DC universe, where there are cosmic beings, aliens with powers like Superman , Gods, Magics, etc. Anything can happen in a setting like that...
@dboyman I guess it could be worse. They could have had her be healed by Superboy punching the universe. lol
A positive comment from Fox le gasp o_o. Joking of course cant wait for this game :D
Epic as in Unreal Engine? I agree. I wonder what version this game is using?
They're using a juiced up version of the modified unreal 3 engine they used in Arkham City http://www.videogamer.com/p...
That explains the similarities. Not saying it does not look good. I love the two other games but graphically I would expect more from this gen.
oh god, i was wrong...the gfx look amazing this game will make my pc scream like a b***
I, for one, I'm glad to see aliasing on that first shot. They're most likely not bullshots.
yeah, noticed the same thing i can notice bullshot pretty easy now since we get nothing but them most the time from 3rd party developers what the minimum requirements will be ?!
The GTX 870 should tame this creature when it comes out.
More like, itll make your PC scream like Black Canary :P
Wowzers, this game looks amazing! Must buy for me and I regretfully never played Arkham City, maybe I should pick it up?...
Yeh, you should! Arkham City was a blast! :D
So I heard, I played 1 and loved it but for some strange reason jesus himself can't explain, I skipped Arkham City...I may have to play it while I can, next gen gaming hasn't ruined past gen for me yet lol.
BlakHavoc- Do new consoles typically ruin the previous gen games for you? Thats something I just never understood. Yea, the graphics always improve but the storytelling and depth of games seem to be going the opposite direction which is why retro-gaming is becoming so popular. A great example is I just began re-playing Chrono Trigger for SNES, which I hadn't played since it was originally released in 1995. And it reminds me that NO MODERN GAME can beat the awesomeness in games like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, the Ultima VII (PC), and the Secret of Mana. The closest modern game that comes close in my opinion was the original Mass Effect. The massive uprising of nerd rage over the final 10% of Mass Effect 3 was a direct result of how amazing the original was and how players became emotionally invested in the characters, their cause, and their world. Most development firms would kill in order to create a series that has such an effect on people because it's such a rare thing. Bioware made the mistake of either not realizing this or simply not giving a rats a$$, and their arrogance, lies, and betrayal of such a devoted fan base will not be forgotten. Anyways... back to your regularly schedueled broadcast, which I believe was Batman. Fun fact... did you all know the original Batman, Adam West, was a flaming homosexual? I guess that explains the tights and his young houseboy Robin. :) And before people go ballistic, I used the term "flaming" because off-camera he couldn't act like a normal human being and was notorious for the in-your-face feminine type of behavior that has created the negative stigma of gays and has resulted in a much longer period of societal integration than should have ever occurred.
I just start play Arakham City now and its amazing game plus I all ready bought Arakham Orgins only to keep me busy when I wait for Arakham Khnight😊
