GGG writes about why they think the Xbox One will over-take the Wii U in lifetime to date North American sales in March and how this would compare to the PS4's sales in NA too.
Impressive for a console currently selling in 13 countries. The 360 sold in 41 countries, X1 will start adding more in Q4. 40% of 360 sales were outside North america
I agree. Sometimes I actually forget it's only in 13 countries. Hope all consoles continue to sell good so it'll lead to good games for everyone.
Yes, but those 13 markets are MS' strongest for the Xbox brand. That's why they launched there first. It's not the number of markets that matters. It's whether or not those markets tend to contribute to MS' console sales that's most important.
The other market dont even make more than 15% for MS. It is released in all the big markets, were it actually can be so successful to make a difference. But they dont sell that well. Titanfall will boost it, but so will Mario Kart the Wii U. Mario Kart is the bigger game, I want to see, why exactly the Xbox will outsell the Wii U, because the sales from the last weeks said otherwise.
I have to say I am surprised the WiiU is not selling better they released some good games last year for that console with more quality coming this year. I wonder if it is going to be a bad timing issue with them their quality games maybe needed to hit before PS4 and X1 arrived.
May should see a good boost with MK8 launching. People love their Mario Kart.
If it happens, WiiU will come back and finish a close 2nd by the end of the year. The MK bundle will do wonders for Nintendo. Glad to see XB1 still holding its own. I want to play Titanfall
Gamers in North America love them some Xbox. I prefer the X1 but thats a personal choice there is no denying the PS4 looks more powerful at this point.
Yeah, I've noticed Americans prefer Xbox. I've been told it's because it gets hacked less than the Playstations.
