djplonker1617d ago (Edited 1617d ago )

But but azure and it's 300,000 servers...

XD

Fireseed1617d ago

Nahhh XBL can occasionally go down... for a month however...

Anthotis1617d ago

To be fair, games with always online DRM tend to suffer around launch.

KonsoruMasuta1617d ago

@Anthotis

It's technically not DRM. It's an online multiplayer games, and in order to play online you need internet.

Snookies121617d ago

@Fireseed - That was hacking, which is completely different from issues with servers. Also, everyone got 2 free games for that issue. You also didn't pay for PSN. So, there's all of that to consider.

This is why I get so annoyed with sites reviewing games with an online component before they are actually released. Especially considering this is an online only game. And just look at BF4 and all the problems it had / has. We don't know if this is a short term issue or if other issues will pop up as well.

Hopefully this will be a short lived problem but considering EA is involved I wont hold my breath.

Very frustrating not to be able to sign in to my profile and play this awesome game. I was playing earlier today and it was fantastic. But since 5pm EST I have not been able to sign in to my profile and I am getting very frustrated. There is no excuse for this to happen. I can understand it at midnight on launch day, but not at the peak time of the day. People get home from work and school, throw in TF or setup their new x1, and can't sign in to play. If it was down for 1 hour, I can understand. But as I type this now, its going on 6+ hours. This isn't ea or respawn fault, its MS since it related to live. All the resources MS has, all the all-star geek squad IT minds, and 6+ hours you can't figure it out? This was supposed to be the rebirth of the X1 and had to launch flawlessly. Instead, people can't even play and enjoy.

I know, tomorrow it will be fine and everyone will forget, no big deal. But it is a big deal when MS prides themselves on Live is best online experience, X1 is place for games, yet your #1 big hitter can't be played on launch day.

Very disappointed in MS today.

jetlian1617d ago

i was on at 5pm est. guess they locked people out.

PONTIAC08G8GT1617d ago

Didn't get back on until almost midight EST, 7+ hours.

"Xbox Live is now down"

I've been playing all night. I guess I have my own private servers.

AngelicIceDiamond1617d ago (Edited 1617d ago )

@Malo I just logged in and no problems here either. Internet what did I say about internet gossip VS whats really happening You know, real life?

Granted this was several hours ago but still.

They should fix this soon.

Tom871617d ago

Battlefield 4 and now Titanfall.
EA is in a very bad position.

dbjj120881617d ago

Yeah, I'd at least like one launch day to go right every once in a while.

Allsystemgamer1617d ago

This is on Microsoft. Not ea. I hate ea but this is running on azure. Ea and respawnbhave nothing to do with the servers

vallencer1617d ago

It had nothing to do with EA. Microsoft was having issues with people signing in that's it. People who were signed in were playing Titanfall perfectly. So EA is completely in the clear on this one especially because they weren't even using EA servers. They were using microsofts, which weren't even having problems except for signing in.

BX811617d ago

Good on my end all day. Had issues at 2am for 30min

s8anicslayer1617d ago

It's been playing flawlessly for me

notyobizhwispndmymny1617d ago

I am in a country with no servers and no xbox live. Not in one of the supported 13 countries and its worked well for me all day. Not saying some people aren't having problems but the sensationalist headlines are too much. Same for any PSN outages. Networks are not 100%. Anybody with basic Networking knowledge will tell you the same.

On the bright side Titanfall is a failure and as a result Xbox One is gonna crash and burn and Microsoft is going to be acquired by Comcast :)

mynameisq1617d ago

So not all day then? lol that's like saying ''I've been on my best behaviour all day today. Stabbed someone at 2am for a few seconds.

BX811617d ago (Edited 1617d ago )

Or it's like saying at around 2am I had some issues after release, went to sleep woke up and played through out the day and had no issues. If you want to be literal change your tag unless your name is in fact "q".

lunatic00011617d ago

ive been trying to connect to xbox live since 2pm and its now 7 pm and still no luck :( :( :(

BX811617d ago

Must be a region thing? I just turned on my xb1 and I'm playing Titanfall now. That sux man.

lunatic00011617d ago (Edited 1617d ago )

serious...what region are you playing from?

@uberpwnyexpress
i live in cali as well and i still can't sign in :(

Bernlock1617d ago

Agreed I played all day zero problems. Live In Cali. My buddy who lives in New Orleans can't sign on

BX811617d ago

I live in florida the server ping is 67 to 69. For those having issues it sux. I know the feeling all to well with bf4.
