Tin Salamunic: South Park: The Stick of Truth is a monumental achievement. It’s not only one of the best licensed games ever made, it’s one of the strongest role playing titles in recent memory. I would go as far as saying it ranks amongst the biggest successes of the last generation. It’s a pleasant surprise too, because at one point I was convinced The Stick of Truth would be just another missed opportunity, especially with the numerous delays and publishers switching mid development. But I should‘ve known better. I should’ve known to trust Trey and Matt to deliver on their promise. South Park: The Stick of Truth is everything fans could wish for. It plays like a full-length interactive TV season; giving us the same raunchy humor and energy we’ve grown to love over the years. Its authenticity is exemplary and I’m convinced gamers with no interest in the franchise might walk away as South Park devotees. Yes, it’s that good.
Over the last 25 years, there has been a fair few South Park games, and here GameSpew has ranked them all from best to worst.
We are going to see a lot of crap South Park products since they sold out to paramount years ago. It's their IP they can sell out, of course; it just means the quality of their show has tanked and other products as well. Nevertheless, they put on excellent musicals, but those haven't been sold to a mega corporation.
Loved the RPGs but never played the others. Have to track them down. Still not sure about Snow Day though.
The South Park series has somehow managed to stay relevant for over 25 years, but which are the best games based on the TV show?
The only two worth playing are Stick of truth and fractured but whole. The rest were garbage except snow day which I can't say anything about yet. But with that said, unlike stick and fractured which debuted as AAA full priced titles by ubisoft, snow day is a new developer and publisher and has a budget price at only $30 soooo

I see Deadpool made the list. Also saw it in stock at the local game store. Second hand. Might finally pick up a copy.
i don't see why square enix can't just use a simple turn-based combat system anymore. do people seriously hate how their older games played now?
It was amazing while it lasted. 15 hours worth of gameplay though was not worth the $60. If they had been offering it for $30 I would have been completely satisfied.
Like the original Bioshock, it doesn't matter how long the game is. I will take 15 hours of quality (or 6-8 hours in Bioshock's case) over a longer, less-consistently enjoyable experience any day.
