This is right on the money, in every way. SquareEnix has it in their power to pave the way for another genre in the AAA space. They did it once before, and they can do it again. But, they won't. SquareEnix are not the leaders that SquareSoft was.

They are now playing follow the leader. It shows most glaringly in XV. And, it has lead to them being just another face in the crowd.
