Jolt Review: Overclocked: A History of Violence

Jolt reports:

''There was a time when we, along with most people, thought the point-and-click adventure genre was a dying creature, but now we're beginning to form a different opinion. As big budget, next generation action games take over, point-and-click games, with their well understood interactions and relatively static environments, provide an ideal outlet for smaller developers with a story to tell, but not a great deal of resources to tell it.

This would certainly seem to be the case with Overclocked: A History of Violence, from Moment of Silence developer House of Tales. The game engine is passable, the story gripping enough while it lasts and it even has a unique gameplay mechanic that sees you adventuring through the memories of a number of mental patients.'' (Overclocked: A History of Violence, PC) 6.8/10
