Dishonored 2: 7 Things We Want From Dishonored's Sequel

NowGamer: "Dishonored 2 looks set to be revealed at E3 2014. Here's what we'd like to see from a Dishonored sequel." (PC, PS4, Xbox One)

Agree with all of these points. And if Dishonored 2 happens, I really hope that it's NOT a cross-gen title.

I want them to improve the characters, narrative and the graphics. Also make the world more atmospheric and filled with details that make it feel more believable.

The powers and combat were awesome in the first game though. They should refine and expand from there.

To be cancelled :) First one was pants.

Couldn't have been that "pants" if you took the time to click on the article and comment.

First one was great imo, can't wait for the sequel. I'd like the areas to be even more open and explorable.

actually its the fact that imo having played the game ( then sold it ), i found it to be pants is the reason why i clicked and commented.

I see you found the game to be "great", which is good. . . for you. Hopefully the second one wont be pants, then maybe you'll like me :)

Better stealth, less restrictions, a good story. Do that, and you can do whatever else you want to it.

"Dishonored 2 – Give Us a New Protagonist"

No...they have one and it's their job to develop this character.

The reason they probably didn't give him a voice was because it was a new IP.

More gritty and true open world if possible.

A setting change would be nice, i wasn't a big fan of Dishonored art style & steam punk setting combination.

From article: "American accents are always jarring in games set in olde worlde times and that was certainly the case in Dishonored, which so clearly took Victorian England as its inspiration."

But it's not olde worlde times. It's an entirely fictional setting that's free to decide the accent of its characters. Are American accents that bad?

the only thing that i want added in the sequel is a little more humor, the setting in dishonored 1 was far too depressing (reminded me of metro 2033) especially in high chaos and the story was taking the gameplay far too seriously, i would love if dunwall could become a little happier place

Lady Boyle's Party is one of the highlights of the entire generation for me.

It's actually a huge level even outside of the house itself.

The art style is not done justice to in the slightest in still shots or videos. It's the fluidity of the game that makes it a winner- everything is seamless. You're not just some scared person stealthing around- you're always potentially a bad ass and your options are many. Sword fighting feels visceral, precursor to Ryse.

Plus the verticality of the game. Some houses you explore have about 4 or even 5 floors.

Above all, you will find quiet humour of your own design in Dishonored. Turning in to a rat, following people without immediately being attacked, attacking them from on high. You're only ever in the thick of it if you choose to be in this game - it always gives you the power to do things from an aloof distance.

I loved the "moral" choices where the "good" option is actually worse for the target, but, please make it harder (blink past everyone shouldn't be so easy) and bigger too (again blink is awesome but maybe too awesome)!
