inFAMOUS: Second Son Lead Animator and man with the mighty beard Jason Stansell shared more details on the upcoming PS4 exclusive.
How you play will impact Delsin's appearance, cool, i know his neon turns more red in colour if you chose the "evil" path....but im eager to know how it will affect his actual physical appearance. Cant wait for this game. I'll definitely be going through it twice....at least.
The logo on the back of his jacket changes as well.
If he acts bad does he go from grunge into hipster or even worse...Goth? I hope they have leader boards on how evil you can become.
No worse he becomes preppy
The previous two games had cole looking very dif depending on which side you lean towards. His lightening went from blue to red. It was awesome and I did play through twice both times. Very dif powers. I would def recommend it. So if good powers are purple then maybe evil powers are green ;) Off topic: CAN SOMEONE PLZ STOP THESE ADS FROM TAKING ME FROM THE SITE TO THE APP STORE!!!!!
This might sound mean, but I'm glad its not just me. I though my damn phone and tablet had adware or something on it. Yeah get rid of it N4G, its damn rude to do that all the time, I should never go to a site I didnt click on.
So it's this site causing me to constantly be redirected to the app store? WTF! I tried several times finding any setting to disable my phone and tablet from doing this every time I visit this site. There is just too many adds on this site anymore. It even slows down browsers on my gaming rig. Back on topic: I have plans on playing Imfamous:SS at least 2 times. I played both previous versions 3 times through.
I'm definitely playing through twice at least. Starting with evil karma as usual. Maybe the beanie will emit red neon vapor! Off: Nice new avatar Lukas. Jokes might get jealous.
Im going to start with evil karma too. Evil playthrough's are always the most satisfying :P "Nice new avatar Lukas. Jokes might get jealous." Lol, i watched The Dark Knight again the other day and realised just how much i love that character/scene. Had to be done.
"Don't talk like one of them, you're not! Even if you'd like to be. To them, you're just a freak, like me. They need you right now. But when they don't, they'll cast you out, like a leper. See, their morals, their code... it's a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you, when the chips are down, these... these civilized people? They'll eat each other. See, I'm not a monster, I'm just ahead of the curve." Just TRY to NOT think it in his voice. Amazing performance, and will be remembered forever. lol
I always do a Good/Normal playthrough, then an Evil/Hard. It's easier when you're evil and don't have to worry about roasting civilians.
def gettin the platinum which means playin through the game multiple times
I sure hope I'd wanna play twice, just like I did with inFamous 1 and 2
I think I will be playing two and three times due to the fact that that's the only game I have interest in on the PS4...
They said that last time and I still only played it once. Hopefully the moral choices will be better than one, and way better than those joke ones in 2.
It's really the only game worth playing on ps4 at this time... Looks good though maybe by the 5th run through some more games will pop up..
I expect nothing less than the diversity we got from the ending segments of Infamous 2. As in depending on your moral alignment you got two COMPLETELY different missions. And from the previews the moral decisions involve two completely different issues, one good mission is taking care of drug dealers while the evil mission is a completely unrelated issue of taking care of people protesting conduits. Hopefully that's the way it works throughout the entire game and it won't devolve into one good way and one bad way to complete the same objective.
Does anyone know if you have to play the predecessors to understand what's going on. I don't own a PS3 but I want to pick up a PS4 and that game looks pretty fun. I have a buddy who has a PS3 and I guess I could play through the first two games (or were there more?) with him if it's nessessary. I'd also like to know how long the predecessors were.
I dont think its neccessary, just better if you do. But the game will be fun for the gameplay not just the story so I think youre good. One of the reasons I suspect its not inFamous 3. PS The gameplay really is fun, best superhero games available, in my opinion. Yes I'm including Batman and its overatted (still good) combat.
Not opinion... FACT! OT: that what I did in both games xD
Try to play these games on PS3 since you are getting a PS4. Maybe when PS Now drops, but don't miss out on last gen greatness.
I just wanna play the game
As long as I don't have to run around and get those stupid shards twice, fine.
I want to play every game twice. (Except Street Fighter 2010 for the NES. DO NOT PLAY THAT GAME!)
What... why would you play infamous twice. You suppose to play Once good Second run evil Third mixed aka do whatever
I played the prior games through twice (these are the only two games I've ever played through twice.) I agree with 'The Twelve' it would be nice if the second play through didn't require you to collect the collectibles again. There were over 300 freaking blast shards in Infamous 2. Can't remember how many there were in the first one but there were several hundred. Some sort of New Game + option with a full battery core bar would be nice. Whatever happens, I will still play the game twice to get the different karmic endings. The first two games rocked! The writing was good in a pulp scifi/comic book kind of way. I love the Uncharted games but I actually love the Infamous games even more because they aren't as linear and Zeke's character was fairly well developed. Graphically, Uncharted was better but the prior Infamous games' graphics were great for open worlds they created. Because of the polar karmic choices, the missions, endings (especially in the second game) and powers differed enough to compel me through the second play through.
