Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze Wii U Review - DJ Podcasts

Paul from DJ Podcast writes "Donkey Kong is back and in the most spectacular fashion and yet somewhat difficult manner. It’s been a while since I’ve chased down so many banana’s and had relatives jumping on my shoulders, however Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze will see you do this in spades. This and a whole lot more platforming adventure is what Tropical Freeze is all about, and in short you’ll go ape." (Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Wii U) 8.5/10

Difficult, very, very difficult...unless my age is simply catching up on me and my reflexes aren't what they once were. Either way its an extremely good game which not only looks stunning at times but has a wonderful soundtrack which ties the whole thing together. My only negative - if you can call it such - is that it feels a bit deja vu compared with DKCR's (Wii), for me though a better 2D "platformer" than Rayman Legends (just).
