Review: Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare | Game Informer

Game Informer has reviewed Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare. They write:

Spending a few hours with the accessible combat and charming world was entertaining, but the random card packs and achievement-style leveling system killed my desire to keep playing. Garden Warfare's simplified gameplay and limited map selection can only entertain for so long – without rewarding progression, there's no carrot (or brain) at the end of the stick. (PC, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Xbox 360, Xbox One) 6.5/10

So the split screen is X1 exclusive... but you can't even save your progress if you are second player? I'm hoping I just read that wrong I had excitement for this game.

The game is awesome. I too am getting Titanfall but had to nab this. It's a blast, don't let the reviews fool you plus it's only $40.

@deebo

Pick it up brother, my nephews love it. So do I :)

GI usually does pretty good reviews though, not always perfect, but they are usually pretty close to the truth.

I would say this is probably a case were certain people are going to LOVE this game and for others it just won't be what they wanted.
