Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition Coming to PS4 March 4th

Rogan Ogden (PSUS):

"My favorite new feature is Broadcast+ mode. In this mode, you can stream your game to the masses interactively, and your viewers can influence the difficulty of your game. Periodically all your viewers, whether they be on PS4 or a web browser, have the option to vote between a positive and negative effect that occurs in your game.

There are a total of 30 different voting effects that can occur, ranging from spawning zombie packs to giving the player ammo, or even disabling the player’s ability to sprint. But don’t worry; as a player you can get back at the masses, because voters will appear in your game as named zombies for you to exact your revenge on." (Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition, PS4)

Nah, it's 1080p 30fps, The dev said that it's "built around 30fps latency and 60fps would require re coding"....or something along those lines.

Not sure how legit his excuse is or not, but it's definitely a little disappointing. I'll still play it, but 60fps would have been great.

@lukas especially when the gameplay gets hectic, 60fps wouldve been sweet. Thanks

Understandable though. They're probably working on a new game and don't have time to redo the coding on the original game in such a limited amount of time, especially when offering it for free for people with PS+. At least it's locked at 30fps which means no dips like on PS3 when it gets insane on screen which Dead Nation often does.

I never really played much of Dead Nation. It is a fun game though, now maybe I'll have people I know to co-op with. Now they just need to add an enhanced Pixeljunk Monsters to the PS4 PS+ instant games collection.

Is it 1080p 60FPS? If so, totally worth playing on PS4.

Good that they fixed the weapon select because it was god awful on the PS3. That was a damn good game. I'll definitely pick that up when I get around to getting the PS4.

In that trailer there is a shot that is reused 3 times. That's mega-lame editing haha.

OT: Dead Nation was awesome but I played the absolute hell out of it. Not sure if a couple new modes will be enough to make me re-purchase.

Love Dead Nation so will definitely play it again on PS4. Still hoping they do a sequel.
