Forbes: If Dark Souls were an 80′s cartoon, this would be it.
YouTube user veselekov has created something truly brilliant with the above video—it’s basically Dark Souls meets Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
loooool....that was brilliant.
Off topic... I might be getting alittle too dramatic here, but I really think Dark Souls can save the gaming industry... Solid gameplay (so good, it's like "f*** the visuals). Decent graphics. Respects the players intelligence. And most of all, relatively LOW development budget. If developers/publishers realize you can make a solid game without pumping wads of cash into it. We might see less layoffs
I wouldn't say "fuck the visuals" is part of Dark Souls's philosophy. The game has an amazing aesthetic and artistic direction that very few games can even hope to match. I'm guessing you are referring to the technical aspect of graphics?
I don't mean the developers say f the visuals, I mean we do. The gamers. As in its not the best looking game, but who cares
This is amazing. Imagine if from software made DLC like this for dark souls II, i would totally buy that.. it would be similar to what blood dragon was to far cry 3.
But Far Cry 3 was already a FPS without Blood Dragon, i don't see how guns would improve Dark Souls 2. Maybe if Dark Souls cartoon was like Thundercats or He-Man or even Conan: The Adventurer, then yeah it would kick ass as a cartoon and a spinoff '80s version DLC.
I wouldn't necessarily say adding guns would improve dark souls as a series. all i'm saying that if they wanted to create DLC they should do based off this video it would be like this totally weird one off similar to what blood dragon was. it's out of the box and something no one would really expect, plus it could potentially be really fun.
Deus Ex could use an 80´s esque trailer that would be pretty awesome.
We have a whole movie! It's called "Robocop". Mind=blown!
Dark Souls 2 isnt nothing like that lol
