Four new Persona Games coming to North America in 2014/2015

A while ago, Atlus had a countdown event in Japan which announced four new games in the Persona Series. Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth (3DS), Persona 4: Dancing All Night (VITA), Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (PS3/360) and last, but not least, the long awaited Persona 5 (PS3). (3DS, Persona 5, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, PS Vita, PS3, Xbox 360)

Awesome. Screw waiting for an EU release this time, I'm importing

Persona 4 Arena was region locked, and P4AU could go down that route.
Nintendo devices are naturally region locked, and therefore PQ cannot be imported.

Meaning that the only games you could import to EU without importing the entire system are P5 and P4D. Though P5 is the only one that really hugely matters anyway.

They really spread them out. Sucks for Persona fans, but also is awesome for Persona fans.

I think it would be smart for them to find a way to get Persona 5 on PS4/Vita.

Well good thing I wasnt planning on getting rid of my PS3. Sony wasnt kidding about supporting it through 2015.

Out of 4 Persona games not one is coming to PS4. Why not Atlus ?

P5 was probably worked on for the PS3 for six years, so there's no point in scrapping all the work on the engine just to put it on the new system. Something very similar happened with P4; it was released two years for the PS2 two years after the PS3 went on sale.

uh because Japanese developers don't switch generation early.

Persona 6 maybe but not Persona 4: Arena U, Persona Q, Dancing All Night, and 5. Those four games already in developement for years, especially Persona 5.

I'll take P5 and P4AU. Maybe Dancing All Night, and MAYBE PQ. But the two PS3 games a definite.

I don't know why I ignored this series for years!
I decided last year to start from the first one up!
Got it on my Vita and it is an awesome game.. I cant wait to get to the games that have a bit more eye candy like persona4 on the Vita!

I'm surprised Ultimax is on 360. They kept dodging the question when they were asked about a 360 version when the game was announced.

Anyways, I'm happily getting all 4 games.

Persona 5 and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax are already Day 1 purchases. All I need is an exact release date.

I predict Persona 5 to be an instant classic.

Katsura Hashino
Shigenori Soejima
Shoji Meguro

These 3 names alone let me know it's in good hands.
