CCC Says: "Many of you probably haven’t heard of Gaymer X, a gaming convention that is specifically made to be a safe space for LGBT members of the gaming community. Well, it’s the convention’s second year running, and it’s growing rather quickly. In fact, its first year was larger than most first year conventions ever get. Sure, it doesn’t hold a candle to PAX, but at 2,300 attendees in year one, it had more people show up than Otakon did in its first year, or even San Diego Comic Con!"
Josh Grifiths writes: "This new location is not without its problems, however. As stated in the Risks and Challenges section, the event this year is being held in a hotels and convention centers, and event planner Midboss was unable to secure an adjacent hotel for guests to stay."
Marcus Estrada writes: "GX4 proved an interesting convention for many reasons. The biggest of which might just be the fact that it felt smaller when compared to GX3. Despite a full booking of panels, very few stood out to me personally this time around. Even though there was an expo hall, it only featured a slim selection of folks selling their wares. Instead, booths for Intel, GitHub, LinkedIn and others took up space and seemed best for people looking to network."
Alexx at IGCritic says "In the attempt to help make this easier on you all, Here is a list of still to come top gaming conventions in 2016, with entrance prices and dates so you can make the most of your work vacation and dive into a sea of gaming nirvana"
