Xbox One Kinect has “great future” says Swery65

Hidetaka “Swery65” Suehiro has told X-ONE in its latest issue that he was attracted to developing D4 (Dark Dreams Don’t Die) for Xbox One because of the potential he sees in Kinect 2.0. (D4, Xbox One)

Still skeptical about the future for Kinect for games.

Curious about the Kinect, I do love Project Sparks implementation where you can do your own animation via the Kinect through motion capture, that's something I'd love for Halo 5 for Machinima's, but that's really the only gaming feature I've seen so far that intrigues me.

I didn't know about that.
Sounds cool

This game looks really interesting. I admit that as a PlayStation 4 only owner (until I can afford a secondary console) I'm envious. I hope this game turns out great.

D4 could be Kinect saver here!

The focus on Kinect have irreparably damaged the xbox brand.

Can't believe they sacrificed manufacturing costs on a something that's used more for voice commands and navigating the OS than hardware power.

I have to give my own personal example of Kinect usage that now, I have experienced, it can never be replaced.

I get home from work, I walk into my living room. I say 'xbox on' then I sit down on my couch. I then smile as my TV comes on, my xbox comes on, my surround sound system comes on, my xbox greets me by name on the screen and Im ready to go....

Dinners ready and I got greasy hands from eating so I simply say, 'Xbox go to 4OD, Comedy, the IT Crowd, Play.'...

Its late, my eyes sting from hours of gaming, im exhausted and can hardly move, just want my bed so I say 'xbox turn off' and smile again as I leave the room as the xbox, tv and surround sound power down, patiently waiting for me to say those magic words again.

I love Kinect and my Kinect loves me :)

I know exactly how you feel, three months in and this still surprises me how much I enjoy it. As a ten year old way back in '85, I was dreaming of this kind of "futuristic" technology that I assumed would never arrive in my lifetime. Sometimes it's the little things in life that bring joy.
I know exactly how you feel. I am not gonna lie and say its 100% accurate, the Kinect I mean but its over 90% and I can't see myself not using it. NSA or no NSA :D
