Next-Gen Face-Off: Rayman Legends

Featuring beautifully drawn 2D visuals and imaginative gameplay, Rayman Legends stands out as one of the best games released last year, showing that the humble 2D platformer still has much to offer amongst a sea of blockbuster first-person shooters and open world action titles. It's also one of the few games to deliver native 1080p visuals running at a smooth 60fps - an impressive feat rarely seen on the previous generation of consoles, and something which both the PS4 and Xbox One are struggling to achieve in an era where pushing prettier pixels on screen is still considered to be more important than targeting high frame-rates. (PC, PS4, Rayman Legends, Wii U, Xbox One)

Eurogamer, the xboxone struggles to reach 60fps. Struggles to reach 30fps in some games as well.

You should not mention PS4 in the same breath.

PS4 is 50% more powerful.

This is one of the less demanding game out there and running 1080p 60fps shouldn't be any problem for both the PS4 and Xbone. Would be a surprise if any platform struggles.

So Wii U the best version. No surprises there.

I would not be surprised if these were the exact same videos posted side by side. I honestly can't tell any difference. Maaaaaybe the PS4 version is a tad bit smoother, but it could also be my bias lol.

You would think they could've at least added some MSAA to the PS4 and Xbox One versions? lol
