Monolift Soft’s X Is Exactly the Cure For Wii U Woes

At the latest Nintendo Direct Iwata demonstrated some of the latest footage from the mysterious X from Monolith Soft, and it looks fantastic. It appearss that Monolift Soft has successfully created a proper successor to Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii. What’s not to love? As player's will be able to punch dinosaurs in the face with giant robots in a real time open world! With a codename like X and all of the similarities between it and previous Xeno games there’s almost no question that it will be a part of the series lore in some capacity. The real question is if it’s enough to turn Nintendo’s fortunes around. (Nintendo, Wii U)

Game looks brillant and I can't wait for it. However let's face it, this is obviously not gonna be a system seller.

Lol? All over the internet everyone has been saying they are waiting for X to buy a Wii U and also all my friends are doing the same. Seems like a System Seller to me.

Chances are it's probably not a system seller but with all the talk about how great xenoblade is it might be a run a way Success, I for one was looking forward to it and now I've played xenoblade it's my most anticipated game even over ground zeroes and second son.

Hopefully the story is good too.

I have high hopes for this game... Just add long add we don't have any more idiots claiming it'll "destroy" competing consoles.

X is definitely part of the cure for Wii U's situation. I strongly believe that making Xenoblade Chronicles a Gamestop Exclusive and only for a limited time was a detriment to its sales. People are still going out and buying it, now that they've made it available again.

X is sounding like it's going to be a sleeper hit. One of those games that people know has a strong fan base, but they are unaware of how popular it actually is. Not too much hype will be going into it, but on release day, everyone will be quietly picking it up. Then word of mouth will spread that sucker like a wild fire :)
