WCCF: Multiplayer benchmarks are nearly impossible to conduct, but we finally have Multiplayer Benchmarks of Battlefield 4 with Mantle API Vs DirectX
Now that the RTX 4070 Super has launched, AMD have chopped the price of the RX 7900 XT to new lows.
AMD has expanded its Fluid Motion Frames (AFMF) tech to Radeon 700M iGPUs which play a major role in laptops, handhelds & desktops.
The ideal FPS would be for Steam Deck 45fps which is boosted to match the 90hz screen. However, today's new games are not on that level even on the OLED version, so the successor to Phoenix Point needs to come out fast. The 2nd Gen Steam Deck needs a VRR screen as well to make this doable. 2025 should be the year for such a device.
Are you looking for a deal on the Ryzen 7 5800X3D this holiday season? You might be better off waiting until after Black Friday to get a discount on this very capable Zen 3 CPU.
I have it, one of the best CPU's around. If your still on AM4 upgrading to one will be a huge boost for games, and even if your still on pcie 3.0 (like me x470) there is no reason to worry about pcie 4.0 drives. Because with Direct Storage there is hardly a difference if any in loading like Ratchet and Clank, which is the only game that's worth playing with it. That and as it is now DS seems like a wasted effort there are no more games this year and none announced next year using it.
Titanfall textures are awesome.
Cboat is a filthy neogaf liar.
I wonder if they can have half-Mantle half-DirectX games. So, before a game is updated for complete Mantle support they can still release a few of the Mantle optimizations beforehand. Or, if a developer simply isn't experienced enough or has too low of a budget/amount of time, they could just Mantle, for example, only the lighting.
Mantle graphics are worse that's why you see an FPS increase.

Massive? Less than 10% on a high end card. about 3% on a midrange card. Apparently no one sees the benchmarks, only the sensationalist headline.
