Nintendo Direct Roundup: New Details For Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2, Smash Bros. And More

Nintendo's latest Nintendo Direct was full of new tidbits, trailers and game footage, so let’s get to it, shall we?

The story is too old to be commented.

Nintendo did an amazing job, how can we expect to take this site seriously when you literally skipped news because you wanted hits for an anti nintendo angle?

To be fair, as I've said before, I feel a lot of people were really expecting too much out of a non-E3 presentation.
We got some good news, but nothing that would blow us away, and that'll likely be saved for E3.

Well last year they gave us a bunch of stuff too early and didn't have anything for E3, i hope they go all out this year.

There was nothing wrong with this Direct, other than the boring 3DS bits in the middle. If you follow the right people on Twitter, you can even find out what games will be featured in a given direct. Sakurai (Smash), Soraya (X), and some Platinum games people all RTed the Direct.

If you went in only expecting to hear about those three games, plus DKC and MK8, there's no way you should've been disappointed. The disappointed people were people expecting some magical unannounced shit from Nintendo, which just wasn't happening. Sorry.

The only thing truly disappointing was MK8's distance from DKC: TF. If you're a Wii U-only gamer, you either replay a lot of games, play a lot of Wii games, or go a reeeeeeally long time without anything to do on your console.
