The beginning and the end were awesome. The middle was okay.

Just gonna be honest here, from everything they showed it's only 2 games that interested me. Freaking Smash Bros and Monolith Soft. Those two titles are day one buys for me!

Enjoyed it for what it was but I think the Wii U in it's current state deserved a little more screen time then games such as Pokémon Battle Trozei or Steel Diver: Sub Wars

I mean no Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Bayonetta 2 release dates...come on, these are the games that could sell your console and give it a massive boost.

2014 is good enough for me. Just glad nothing got pushed to 2015.

Foxtrot, I just looked it up and according to IGN it's both NA and Europe.

I assume you dont live in North America then because Mario Kart was given a release date here. I dont know about other territories.

it was ok, only few games interest me.

Nothing much for me. Already excited for their big titles coming out this year . Though really glad Inazuma Eleven is released in America.

Complete waste of time. Nintendo does not care about Wii U! If they did they wouldn't put out games once every 3 months and then expect e-shop titles to carry the system. That is ridiculous! They needed 2 separate Directs instead of this sad attempt.
ICANPLAYGAMES2  +   410d ago
That was pretty good, and besides the main big titles there, I actually found a fair bit more that I may try out that looked fun. I do agree with Foxtrot, and think that there should have been more Wii U stuff shown the 3DS is solid, the Wii U could've been highlighted a little more, oh well.

Wii U should've gotten way more time on this Direct. IT's awesome that Lil Mac is in Smash, but a release date besides just 2014 would've been nice. Releases dates for Bayonetta 2 and X would have been awesome too. Heck He didn't even confirm that X will release in 2014 in the NA Direct. This was supposed to be about games with a Spring release and al the hype today had everyone pumped for an awesome Direct. Instead we got new trailers. Don't get me wrong the X trailer looks amazing and makes me want the game even more and the Bayonetta 2 trailer looked really cool too, but IMO what people needed to see today was release dates for Smash, X, and Bayonetta 2. We got none of those and there was no new announcements aside from NES Remix 2. The 3DS took up most of the Direct when it should be the other way around. I know the only reason I'm disappointed is because I got caught up in the hype, which I knew was bad, but dang that hype train is hard to avoid.

its absolutley hilarious the fandom this got before it started. Everyone trying to predict or hoping what would happen and BOOOOM none of it happened. A bunch of people talking about sega and probably showing up here with a new shenmue BOOOOOM nope. If nintendo could think like us and do what we want BOOOOOMMMMMMM everything would be finished, and no more Doom articles but i promise those will be coming in bunches soon, and that sucks
