Nintendo Direct 02.13.2014: Kirby: Triple Deluxe Release Date Announced

Get ready to suck up some new Kirby fun!

Yesterday, North American retailers GameStop and Newegg listed specific release dates for Kirby's newest 3DS adventure titled Kirby: Triple Deluxe. Coincidentally, both retailers listed the title as being released on Friday, May 2nd, 2014.

As we're all aware, retailer-provided release dates should never be considered official until Nintendo makes the confirming announcement. However, those dates sometimes give good gauge for a title's actual street date — in some cases, the dates turn out to be right on the money. It turns out that both GameStop and Newegg had accurate release dates listed ahead of Nintendo's official announcement, which came today by way of the Nintendo Direct.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe will launch across North American retailers and on the 3DS eShop starting May 2nd for a suggested retail price of $34.99. (3DS, Nintendo)
