Our wishlist for the next Madden NFL game

GameZone: "Since 1997, there's only been one year where I did not buy a Madden NFL video game. I love football. I love the NFL. I love the Denver Broncos. And I love football video games. Madden is the only way I get to solve my need for a football video game, so of course I want it to be the best it can possibly be. So here's my wishlist for features/fixes I want to see in the next Madden." (Madden NFL 25, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

There are some good suggestions in there. For me:

1) CPU vs CPU in offline franchise
2) Get rid of XP based progression
3) Custom soundtrack

I agree with all of those, with presentation and weekly recaps being at the top of my list. The presentation in Madden has always been average. The NFL 2K series always made you feel like every play was a huge deal, taking us through recaps of the best plays in our games and around the league at halftime. It made you feel like your big plays were larger than life and your bad ones were horrid and tended to teach you by your own mistakes.

Like Sunday broadcasts, you felt with every yard, you were doing something special. Madden makes me feel like Im playing videogame football. I will say, that they seem to work on it every year... But by now, they should have at least caught up to NFL 2K5.
