Slightly Mad Studios has just shared a brand new footage for their upcoming next-gen racing title, Project Cars. This latest footage is full of actual in-game footage, the graphics/visuals are of top notch and next to photo-realistic.
Happy man this looks so good!
I expect the PS4 to be 1080p 60fps. Will the Wii U and Xbox One version go for 720p 60fps or 1080p 30fps?
Many people are saying that the game will be running 720p and 30 FPS on its Wii U version. I'm not really sure, though. I don't have any idea of the XONE version.
It all comes down to what effects and post-processing are enabled/disabled.
Except they STILL haven't shown us the game on a mainstream-spec PC or console. I want to know how it will look for the average gamer.
EXACTLY this is what is annoying me! I want to see how the game looks and performs on average pc's and on current gen consoles and next gen consoles and still after so long nobody has seen console or average pc footage! it makes me dubious how it will end up.
1. Its not coming to current gen (PS3/360) consoles, only next gen. 2. Not all of the gamers that have the game have super high end machines. I haven't heard anything about it being overly demanding like Crysis. 3. If you are still curious, there are quite a few on N4g that have the game. Though its still in Alpha at this point so judging the final product based on that might be difficult. 4. As for the next gen versions, I am not aware of any media regarding those, so how it looks and plays on them is a mystery. My guess is it will look pretty impressive.
this game looks amazing, cant wait to pick it up day one for my Wii U ;)
yeah those triggers sure make for dynamic accelera... oh wait. They're buttons.
You do realize the pro controller....ahhhh nevermind....smh.
funny, you do know there are 3rd party controlers that have the real triggers right? Guess not. ;)
If he's excited to pick it up on his Wii U, so what? Cut the dude some slack. Fanboys man...
lol they stole ps4 motto well anyway copying the best is not a problem
Looks cool, although I think they should change the general environment.
Gorgeous shots. I'm hoping I can beef up my machine enough to run it on Ultra at some point. The current available community build looks good, but not quite as nice as these. I can't wait for the full release!
Oculus Rift support = day one purchase :)
You're gonna have an amazing experience.
can someone tell how long this has been in development? it looks great but man when is this actually coming out?
Am I the only one who feels photo-realism is over-rated these days? I'm not saying this looks bad by any stretch, but I'm getting kinda sick of the focus on photo-realism in general these days...
well photo realism with horror survival games would take "scary" to a whole new level
It's just a good measure of where graphics tech has taken us. That said, this isn't "photo-realistic"... no game has truly achieved that yet and this is no exception. I agree that photo realism shouldn't be the goal for all games.
Looks excellent, not photo realistic though. the way it drives will be the most important thing.
Overall, I'm not going to lie, it looks pretty good. Two things though, the shadows need improvement and the environments definitely need improvement. Other than that the game looks to be shaping up nicely. I still have no idea how it actually feels when playing, so hopefully that is very strong. Interested to see more of it when it gets closer to release.
THAT RAIN THO
"Photo realistic"? Some people simply need to step away from their computers, and go outside and experience the real world more. The game looks great, no doubt...but FAR from photo realistic.
