MWEB GameZone writer, Zaid Kriel, explains why he would sell his current favorite, the Xbox 360 to buy a PlayStation 3 - and NOT a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
I have both consoles, and enjoy them both. I wouldn't sell my 360 because of the excellent exclusives it holds, especially my XBLA-collection with amazing games like ilomilo, Super Meat Boy, Trials Evo, Mark of the Ninja, etc etc. My next-gen choice is a PS4 though.
I actually picked up a 320GB PS3 for 2000 ZAR with a controller / HD cable. The games I picked up for 100 ZAR or so. Still works out cheaper.
Good take on the premise - The PSplus specials are really good when you look at what they hand out, I'm just a bit disappointed that it is now manadatory that you need PSPlus to play online on the PS4, but still, not bad value, all things considered...
Persona 5, coming to PS3, not coming to 360, main reason
It took me awhile to come around to PS+. I always was of the mind that I just don't have that much time to play on a home console and will just buy the games that I want to play. Then a PSVita came into my life and I'm playing more games than ever over lunch break and in the evenings while the wife watches TV. Now I wish I had bought PS+ when it first came out. I've missed out on so many good games. It really is a great value.
