"Battlefield 4 has been an exceedingly successful product on both consoles and PC," chief creative officer Rich Hilleman says.
If BF4's "obvious and glaring issues" - those being netcode, servers, crashes & joining friends - are all fixed, then I'm Patrick Bach.
I love how EA doesn't acknowledge how screwed up the campaign is as well with the massive glitches that erase your progress. And okay, you had a bad launch. 3 months later and the game is still a mess. Inexcusable.
Despite all those problems, the Campaign suck worst than Battlefield 3(Where the main character actually talk BF3) campaign. All you can hear is Recker do this! Recker do that! Throughout the game. Even the cutscenes with those thrill moments make no sense! Everytime Recker's in the water or on the ground almost knocked out, his friends always manage to save him with no explanation of how they survived? Your always the last one to safety in any disaster lol! Irish is a stupid motherfu*ker who talks too much and does dumb things. No offense to the actor(Michael K. Williams better actor than the role EA gave him for Battlefield 4), but EA didn't do him justice. Call of Duty Ghost had a much better storyline than this wannabe Call of Duty storyline.
Damn, whats with all the hate? And i disagree, i have both, COD ghost and BF4 and i think BF4 is a much better game.
I haven't played it in weeks how is it today? Still crashes on PC?
Haven't had any issue in months
Really? Cos honestly i haven't finished a full game yet. If i do quick 5 minutes games i can be very lucky and finish one, but full length, nope
hey this is the same company that approves dungeon keeper so of course -_-
Testing on an unreleased platform is difficult? That stupid PR talk doesn't explain why the PC version was horrendously broken. Not even acknowledging that the game was majorly broken in the first 1-2 months is a joke.
I dislike EA so much these days
Typical EA arrogant response, completely ignoring everything else...but there's a reason they behave the way they do
Doesn't matter if its fixed now. The point is that it was released like that with pretty much everyone involved, producers and developers alike knowing it was broke. Then they covered it up. It was so bad for me I put it down, and moved on to games that are finished, polished, and work. What's worse? Keep they hype delay your game and released a polished product, or finishing a game to about 80 percent release it to keep the money wheels turning and patch it as you go? That's rhetorical.
Yep, I've had my fill of EA and Activision. No more Call of Duty's or BF's for me unless there's a complete overhaul. I didn't buy either of the newest and that's how we hit them back. Don't purchase their re-hashed crap anymore people.
too bad i moved away from this game a long time ago, killer instinct has all my attention now. F U EA F U
It's not bad launch games that makes EA who they are... it's their rotten attitude towards dealing with issues.
It's because of idiots saying "oh when the release date I hope it soon or I won't buy it" stupid people like that make games get rushed what are broken or incomplete
