Pretty much putting everything the 360 had on the xbone

Naga1288d ago

Not exactly, but what they are putting on will significantly improve the overall experience, so the update will be very well received.

XB1 is smothered in gravy. It's delish!

Every single bullet pointed feature listed there has been on PS4 from Day 1. What a turnaround from PS3 with MS now having to play feature catch up.

Add that to having to pay for an adaptor to enabloe you to use different headsets on your Xbone controller and you start to see how far behind they were with its design.

Ohhh your momy didn't want to give you 500$ for xbox one. She only gave you 400$ for ps4.
There there. Next time maybe

No no I have both. But it's only us who can afford to that can see the glaring differences between them. Xbone is a significantly gimped machine, no doubt about that.

Speaking of money, Microsoft is no where near going bankrupt. Sony however is selling divisions to keep the lights on and running on fanboy power.

His mommy game him $600 for a PS3... While yours gave you $2 bucks for a red ringed 360

Well Xb1 players have been able to play and save their games without them being erased, as well as know EXACTLY how many of their friends is online, so what is your point. Looks like in the serious issues department ps4 has to catch up with the XB1. You guys don't even make it challenging anymore, that's what happens when you have blind faith.

Just be happy with your console, quit trying to justify it. Its pathetic.

"Well Xb1 players have been able to play and save their games without them being erased, as well as know EXACTLY how many of their friends is online"

As have i and millions of others on PS4, stop spreading the same BS about these so called "widespread" issues on the PS4.

"Looks like in the serious issues department ps4 has to catch up with the XB1. "

I'd call framerates and resolutions pretty serious departments wouldn't you? Especially for $500, seems the console needing to play catch up is the X1, which unfortunately can't be done with weaker specs.

"that's what happens when you have blind faith. "

Do you even see the irony of what you just said?

Big xbox one fan here, an you are absolutely right. The xbox 360 online experience was near perfect. What the xb1 launched with was a huge step back. Comparatively, Sony did a good job improving the online experience over the ps3.

I'm glad to see MS is making improvements where needed. But it is disappointing that so many features I'd been used to having were unavailable at launch.

It's also disappointing that my old headset needs an adaptor. But the improvement in audio quality between xb1 voice and 360 voice is remarkable. Apparenlty, the new proprietary jack is a part of the upgrade.

Still to be fair, there were a number if areas where te ps4 took a step back. Both parties are handling it through updates.

I'm shocked that each system had some pretty basic features on the last gen consoles that did not show up on the next gen consoles. I don't get it.

Just happens. When it comes down to crunch time you gotta get the OS as stable as possible. Which means cutting something's to work on and release later.

I guess when you look at it that way it makes a little sense but you would also think that these companies have teams who can spend a good amount of time on these aspects.
