Michel Ancel Talks Beyond Good & Evil 2

"Beyond Good & Evil is one of the most beloved action-adventure games of the PlayStation 2 generation, and rightly so. Ever since gamers reached its surprising conclusion some ten years ago, outcries for a sequel have echoed across the internet far and wide."

~ Alex Osborn, GameRevolution (Beyond Good & Evil 2, PC, PS4, Wii U, Xbox One)

So excited for this game... if it ever comes out.

I'm also excited for this game. Though, I've never finished the first. I actually downloaded it on the Xbox 360 via Live to play it and only got about an hour or two in and got distracted. Im going to have to finish the first, before this game releases.

As much of the game as I did get to play, I really enjoyed it. Great art direction, great story and likable characters. Almost Rare-like in conception. Hopefully, we will hear and see more of it soon.

This game has wii u written all over it. Especially if they maintain the camera mechanic. I can also see the DS4's motion capabilities doing a great job mimicking a camera.

Got the first one on GOG during their fall sale. Gonna play it soon, once my new gamepad arrives in the mail.

I liked the first one. It's a well-crafted adventure with a lot of good moments.

It sucks that they're having so much trouble producing a sequel. It's easy to tell how much they want to make it.

Lol, Watch_Dogs gets delayed on Wiiu and they talk about BG&E2 so people will forget about WD.

ill tell you what beyond good and evil would not even sell on ps and xb thats for sure. since you know its not mature enough. i mean for insistence okami sold the least on p23 and the most on wii so um yeah
SlapHappyJesus  +   320d ago
You have a weird understanding of what is and is not mature then, if those are the titles you choose to represent games that are not mature.
Justindark  +   320d ago
i never said what games are mature or mot? u cant read? mature or not. but the way most gamers are today think these kind of games aren't mature for not have blood gore and sexual themes. i never said i did not think so so please read correctly. i was being sarcastic.

Actually, if you read it like any regular person, much like myself, then, yeah, you would read it just as I stated and feel you are talking down on experiences such as Okami and BG&E; experiences that are very much mature and whose narrative touch very much upon mature themes.
Don't tell me I can't read, because I know for a fact I am a well versed individual when it comes to the English language and conversation in general.
If I can't read into the supposed sarcasm of the post, that's on your end that it wasn't apparent enough to be seen. Enough said.

The development cost must be massive now!
