With gamers speculating, Googling, drooling, and otherwise praying for an awesome game, Gamerheadlines has gather what news we can on Mass Effect 4.
"Gamers have an interesting stereotype associated with them: they don’t like reading." Ummm, wanna run that by me again....What a dick thing to say.
I read more books than I complete games! And the newspaper everyday! I have no idea whatsoever where this stereotype suddenly came from.
Probably from people saying those complaining about false advertising on ME3 didn't know how to read when it was quite clear their reading comprehension skills were spot on. IGN stated they didn't know how to read or were too stupid to comprehend the game A LOT following ME3's release. BioWare implied it a lot, too.
It's referring to that being an unfair stereotype for gamers.
I've never once heard of this stereotype. It sounds more like he himself, and maybe his circle of friends don't like to read. But I know well enough that gamers don't mind reading the things they are interested in, like pretty much everyone else. ME4 has nothing to do with that, the popularity of sites like IGN show that we like reading about our favorite games.
This isn't about your discussion, as I didn't read it, but I really like your profile pic, BiggCMan!
Right on! Can't wait for Ground Zeroes next month!
