Velocity Ultra sequel Velocity 2X is is currently being developed for PS4 and PS vita, and FuturLab Managing Director James Marsden answered a few questions from the fans about its resolution, framerate, cross buy and more.
Cross buy = Stealing a game from a stupid indie dev. lol
Glad you pride yourself on "stealing" from an indie dev who is putting their life savings into their games in hopes of making some money back in return and growing their company. You're a great person!
I don't play indie crap. And I meant the dev could have made twice as much money. Silly N4Ger. @Grumble You basically live on N4G crying about Sony. Do you even have a life? XD
"I don't play indie crap." Then you are depriving yourself of some amazing experiences. Papers Please, Velocity Ultra, Gone Home, Outlast, Journey, Braid, Fez, etc. are all amazing games that should be experienced at least once.
Why bother with "LinkOnABoat", he probably were born in the late 90s. Since I'm an 80's baby, let me give you a little history. Companies like EA, Activions, Sucker Punch, Ubisoft, were once small time indi developers. Therefore, you never know, if one of these indi developers push out a good game, you might become big like Sucker Punch studios.
There is no point in arguing. If you haven't figured it out yet, he is part of the MisterXMedia regime. These guys survive on their hatred for Sony, Indies, intelligence, and honesty.
Never try and talk logic with someone who can't comprehend it. Such an ignorant and pathetic statement "I don't play Indie crap" What a moron.
I never really paid much attention to this game before but Holy Crap! http://www.youtube.com/watc... I've just become a fan. I think I saw one of the previous titles on PS+ before and I skipped it. *Facepalm*
" Do you even have a life? XD" The irony. All you do is create new accounts and closed them. Rinse and repeat.
We're getting a hell of a lot of childish comments like this just lately. Have they started selling PCs at Mothercare?
Unfortunately you can comment from smartphones.
It certainly has gotten worse leading upto/post launch.
He's just trolling. His comment history is ONLY that. Dunno how the community figures I should have as many bubbles as this guy. With that out of the way, I never did play the first one, but it seems to be pretty popular (except with trolls), so maybe I'll check this one out.
Cross buy = Getting amazing titles for two consoles at an amazing price.
Cross buy is up to the developers and is a critical selling point.
@LinkOnABoat We all have lives, the real question here is, do you have a f**king brain?
Since Sony is funding Velocity 2X to be developed on both PS Vita and PS4, cross buy was part of the deal. Rather than stupidity, it has secured our small team's move onto PS4 with a game we all believe in (our team and the people at Sony) in a way that will be attractive to players. Cross buy will accelerate adoption of Velocity into people's hearts, paving the way for more of our games to be made on PS4 in future. We all win =) James @FuturLab http://www.futurlab.co.uk
Velocity 2X is looking amazing. An indie GOTY contender for sure. Keep up the good work.
go play your cod little 13 year old
This person is sooo retarted .he even make an another account to agree on his comment
I tend to buy a game faster if it has cross buy. Spelunky,Hotline,Guacemelee list goes on, i think its one of the best things Sony has done on PSN. *back to Spelunky*
Absolutely the same here. It's one of the best additions to the digital gaming space in recent years. Spelunky is on sale now, so I may pick it up very soon.
I can't believe I still haven't tried Spelunky... I must buy it soon for PS3/Vita.
I'm looking forward to this game game once I get my ps4
Awesomesauce, this game is gonna be killer! Velocity and Velocity Ultra were awesome!
Cross buy is amazing if you have all three sony system's the ps3,ps4&vita just like playstation+ more bang for you buck.
Hi folks, For some reason the article didn't include the most important part, the video: https://www.youtube.com/wat... =) Enjoy! James @FuturLab
