Sonic Lost World Sales Reached 640,000 in 2013

As of December 31, Sonic Lost World (Wii U and 3DS) has sold 640,000 copies. Despite controversial review scores, the blue hedgehog has able to sell a decent amount of copies in a short amount of time. (3DS, Sonic: Lost World, Wii U)

Don't worry, it looks good.

That's pretty decent.

That pretty good considering Sonic Colors to date passed 2m on Wii and DS Combined.

2m on a console and handheld that between them sold over 150m? So thats around 1% of owners?? Not really.. Sonic used to be a console seller and now it cant even sell 1 million across 2 platforms.. It doesn't help SEGA keeps staying exclusive with Nintendo either.. But it feels right as Sonic and Mario feel like young audience characters and Nintendo always were the younger audience consoles.

And yet games that sell equal or less than that on any other combination of systems are considered winners in many cases.

I'm sorry, but you're wrong here; 2M is a good number for these games.
Denying that is the same thing as denying any game that got 2M sales is a good game, no matter what the size of the install base.

That is pretty impressive considering their are only 5M Wii U owners. Then again maybe it sold mostly on 3DS

I brought both but yeah say it sold better on 3DS due to having almost 8 times as many units (it was the better version surprisingly anyway).

I played it on 3DS and thought it was total trash.

I played Sonic Lost Worlds and I liked it. I don't know why it got a lot of hate from reviewers.

The graphics were colorful and bright, gameplay solid and I loved the new characters they introduced.

do the wii u sonic games have you collect the emeralds? do the characters still have a evlolution when you collect all the emeralds?

Collecting all the Red Rings will unlock Super Sonic, even though I have never done it.

I agree I enjoyed last world. On the last boss just can't beat him yet ll. But the game is of the best sonic games I've played in a long time. I don't think the sales are too bad as I don't remember seeing one add for the game here in the uk.

Even I can see that is a bad numbers... hopefully the deal between sega and ninty can cover all the lost sales if this landed on ps3/4 and 361

That's really not that good...

combined sales? Thats not good at all.. 3DS has over 40 million units out there alone plus the 5 million wii u's should have way more if this game was a hit
