IGN: "Does Bethesda's subscription-based MMO have the potential to deliver?"
I say that goes to Everquest Next.
It's going to be very, very hard for an MMO to come along and really grab a substantial percentage of the enthusiast crowd and keep them. I don't feel like this will be the game to accomplish that. Of course, I could be wrong. I hope it's a success though.
Um... I would have to say that Star Citizen seems to be the most ambitious MMO to this date. Elder Scrolls Online is ambitious alright, but it already has a fanbase from earlier, although single-player, installments.
I read the impressions from PC Gamer earlier and all it did was put me off even more.
Don't hate me for this but I'm going to wait for this to go F2P... I don't like the game that much(Played the BETA).
I played the beta a while ago.If it was like GW2(buy game and play forever) it would be great.I felt like playing a singleplayer game with a lot of other people looting my chests, killing my mobs etc.Its just like a skyrim mod with multiplayer.I dont say its bad, people who like TES series will like this too but i dont think it will bring new players to the franchise.
