Prepare yourselves to choose between freaky, crazy weapons in The Order 1886. Ru Weerasuriya explains the creative process behind the system.
Love it that RAD put plenty of effort into the weapons. My bet is that this game will deliver. :)
I love sci-fi bits, so this is right up my alley! I hope we can modify weapons, that was the best part of Dead Space 3.
I hope to see some footage on 18th, can't wait anymore about this game.
I hope that this hype is well rewarded.
Damn, I'm a sucker for super weird weapons. This game could make me buy a PS4 after all
The weapons do look pretty awesome. They're different which is very welcome in this industry.
Crazy freaky weapons? Howso? Show us some gameplay footage to prove that these weapons are really 'crazy freaky'. Why are you so afraid to show us your 'amazing game', let us decide instead of spewing PR crap. I'm willing to give this game a chance but you keep telling us the game is good and we will throw money at you instead of showing, that's not a good way to obtain sales.
So you are willing to give this game a chance.... The developers must be so lucky that a nobody on the internet gives their game a chance...
Well they are doing a poor job at selling the game right now so I'm not very excited for this game. They announced it with no gameplay, vague description, and a CG trailer that was lackluster. Then they are trying to hype the game by telling us what to think instead of showing off the game. "You guys will love this game" "CRAZY FREAKY weapons" Don't tell us....SHOW US. Unless they are afraid that the game isn't as good as they are saying there isn't any reason for them not to show us. People keep falling for this no gameplay BS but are willing to hang nintendo for not show or talking much about the next Zelda installment....it's so hypocritical. You're right too, people on the internet DON'T give games a chance... go look at any article about the new Sonic game. A minute of footage and people are already claiming that Sega is destroying the world.
@summons There is a reason companies hold back on info and things of this nature. They need to control the amount of information released to achieve maximum results (money). To achieve this you need to take advantage of every bit of info news released by making calculated steps. For example, done the right way. Big news about The Order can drive hardware sales right before the release of Infamous SS, which will stimulate software sales.
You'll see it on the 18th/19th of this month.
Take a chill pill, the date for gameplay release has already been stipulated. They aren´t spewing any PR crap. They´re talking about the game they love and have been working on for years. A little more respect for the developer wouldn´t do any harm.
I have perfect respect for devs who love and care about their games.....but they generally SHOW something gameplay wise when they announce it or very soon after. It's been more than a year of telling not showing.
Ugh, this game just keeps looking better and better. 😳
Ironic since there are no pictures in the article
I'm just going to start leaving this link on every The Order: 1886 article so maybe people will just stop talking crap and just be stunned by just how amazing and incredible and ambitious the game is. http://www.psmania.net/2013...
You should. There's so much there. The in game shots and production images are all incredible. very HElpful.
@summons you're totally right, thats all I need to cast my judgement on this game, just gameplay and I can decide. All the great games shown this new gen have had gameplay videos. To me its just pr dribble till I see the game in motion, but if it blows my socks off ill be the first to say yeeee cant wait day one. If doesnt then ill feel better that I waited till I seen gameplay.
This game is so hyped that I don't have faith in it at all. It's just not appealing to me anymore. Titanfall is the one I'm hyped for! On PC that is.
"Freaky, Crazy Weapons" would make a good multiplayer imo......
Old London just made me want to buy this game.
