Kadokawa Games just released a new batch of information and screenshots of the gameplay of the upcoming PlayStation exclusive Natural Doctrine, that will hit the Japanese shelves on March 19th.
Hmm, this game actually looks really great, but what sort of game is it? I get the impression that it's turn-based.
Turn based strategy RPG. They said they're homaging the strategy JRPGs of old, but they want to add some new mechanics to them, though those haven't been announced yet besides the "collaborative turn" described here. That isn't very new though, so I expect more.
Thanks for the info. I haven't heard of this before and now I'm pretty hyped. Definitely getting a Valkyria Chronicles vibe, which is a good thing.
I love SRPGs and I love my Vita. Can't wait, hopefully it gets localized for release in the west.
Damn right to the above. Wouldnt want it any other way.
This game looks awesome, is it coming to NA ?
Not sure if it's confirmed, but seeing how pretty much every single Japanese Vita game is being localized to NA, I think it is, especially since the game is coming out for PS4/PS3/Vita on PSN.
All of these games look the same. Freedom wars looks awesome but aside from that they all sort of blend in.
I'm not sure what you mean by "these games" Freedom wars is a completely different genre than this.
The waterfall of jrpgs coming to PS3/Vita as of late.
@cyphertech, you say that like its a bad thing. This waterfall of jrpgs is essentially what built the PS brand to what it is today.
They remind me PS2 games... Freedom Wars, Soul Sacrifice, the new Dragon Ball, most JRPGs, they do look similar
That dude looks a lot like Saizo from Brave 10. http://garasunokokoro.files...
