Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze's Dynamic 3D Camera Was Initially Slated for Returns

Cutting and slicing is just one of the difficult undertakings games designers are challenged with when creating their games. In the case of Retro Studios, the the dynamic 3D camera that we see used in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze was a cinematic feature the development team originally had slated for Donkey Kong Country Returns. Unfortunately, to presumably avoid a delayed release by missing a deadline, the feature had to get cut out of the game before it could be implemented. (Donkey Kong Country Returns, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Wii, Wii U)

This game does look awesome. I'm just peeved I'd rather have Retro working on metroid

i'd rather them do this first, get good with the hardware, and put out a really awesome metroid in a couple of years
