It's been awhile since I wrote something. Enjoy everyone!

Nice article. I feel the same way about the game. It has some great characters and environments but the gameplay lets it down. Wide open levels that toss tons of enemies at you with zero strategy. I guess I just expected more strategy in the game.

It was still worth it to fight as Yuri and Estelle, Megaman, Jill, Zephyr and Leanne and a few others. Also the battles were fun and flashy if mindless. I don't regret buying it overall.

Agreed. It had it's moments but I guess I was expecting something else.

"With 50+ chapters to work your way through"

As someone who has beat the game, unless there are secret levels I do not know about, there are only 41 chapters to clear.

I enjoyed the game up until a few chapters after you finally have everybody. Then, it became quite tedious with the minimal attack variations available and as you pointed out the lack of any strategy needed to progress. Using the same set of 5 moves again and again to get through everything took a lot of the enjoyment out of the game.

Oh damn, that's a type I did not see. I meant 40+ :\
