OnlySP: Ever since Sega decided to appeal to the Western market by releasing games based on the Alien franchise, there has been a rather foul taste in gamers’ mouths. Aliens vs. Predators in 2007 left us certainly dissatisfied and Aliens: Colonial Marines last year turned our bored sighs into angry ones. Sega certainly have built up a poor reputation for themselves when it comes to the Alien franchise, and this has left many wondering why the upcoming Alien: Isolation should be any different? Here’s why you should have a little faith. Alien: Isolation may be published by Sega but it’s incredibly obvious that the developers have the passion and authenticity to make this game something fans of the films have been aching for. Let’s discuss.
If you've got an Alien itch you can't quite scratch until Alien: Rolumus releases, GameSpew has rounded up the best Alien games to tide you over.
Fans (myself included) are clamouring for a direct sequel to this fantastic game and hope for an Alien: Isolation 2. But will this great game ever get another instalment?
Also included are Alien: Isolation, Dead Island Definitive Edition, Outlast 2, and more.
Good month imo. I'll play Gotham Knights and House of Ashes. I'm finishing up Disco E on Steam right now - that's a superb game.
Let's hope it won't be. CM was horrible.
Honestly at this point we just won't know untill it's release. No matter how good the trailers ans screens look we are best waiting untill the game comes out since Aliens CM managed to trick even journalists with previews that the game looked good as what they showed off.
Considering how bad Colonial Marines was since it was first announced, I highly doubt this'll be anywhere near that bad.
I really hope that the games media doesn't blow smoke up this game ass like they did with colonial marines. They need to be hard on this game so the dev knows they can't pull the same shit GB pulled.
