well done naughty dog
He's a great writer and a good man, he earned a great deal of my respect after I watched his IGDA keynote, found here; http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Incredible achievement all the more so because of the competition he had. Bioshocks writing was stellar and any other year would have took the prize. I really enjoyed the character development in Tombraider. And while you couldnt really say GTAs story was great, some of the dialogue was brilliant. Congratulations to all of them. Games have come such a long way. There was a time when story wasnt even a factor. Voice acting was soooo bad, (I hope this isnt Chris's blood) and we loved the gameplay but we never really FELT anything in our hearts. Now days a great game is an experience you can carry with you your whole life, like a great film or book, thinking about it years later, and we shouldnt get to bogged down of a games length being only 12 to 15 hours when it impacts you that much.
When saying so little could mean so much. That is what tlou accomplished and that's why this guy deserves this award 100%.
Awesome Neil you deserved it.
HAHA. Who is the troll who comes by, votes every comment down, then leaves? Show yourself, coward!
