Nintendo President Satoru Iwata has something to say about media outlets who report false or twisted information about the company.
Finally. Iwata strikes back like a boss!
He could have saved himself a good deal of breath by saying, "I don't think Western game media should rely so much on Google Translate."
Ironic coming from this site.
What articles have you read? Did you see the link at the bottom of this story where the site literally calls out Game Informer for lying about Wii U using friend codes and bashes them for it?
What's your point? Every once in a while, a positive article defending Nintendo will come out. But 99% of NIntendo news on this site are negative, because they are approved left and right, but there are even positive and FACTUAL articles that don't get approved. So, yes. This site is extremely biased against Nintendo, so lilbroRx is actually right in calling out the irony of it.
The media is bias. In the new Game Informer, they flat out lied about Nintendo
Tumbleweed on a sensible article again. Typical n4g.
N4G is just a place to laugh at retarded fanboys. Dont take anything anyone type here serious especially the Sony fanboys.
Its not how you start, Its how you finish, I think people have wrote the Wii U off way to early. I think that the Wii U will finish its cycle stronger than both the Xbone and Ps4
yup and sony fans claiming victory because of launch sales but launch hype and demand can only get you so far until it dies. They seem to just brush off ps3 early years failure just because it shipped more units than 360.
In a kind of sad irony, this article will quickly get out flamed by a media biased one.
This is old news: http://nintendoenthusiast.c...
"There have certainly been instances where we felt very sad or frustrated, but reacting to every single piece of information could in fact contribute to spreading it further." I love this quote.
You can't stop the internet. Even if it is untrue or unjustified.
Nintendo fanboys state the media is biased but then believe and respect Nintendo's CEO. Nintendo's CEO is (ofcourse he SHOULD defend his own products) most likely the most biased
i love iwata
Of course you do ;)
I love you too, man.
i also love sonic. my favorite game character ever, but i cringe every time i see your avatar because its usually trolling or a snarky comment, which, for some reason, i always read in old Jaleel White Sonic's voice.
and what wrong with loving something
I've had a pronlem with my Wii U gamepad not working if it goes further than five inches away from my Wii U. I'm an early adopter and bought my Wii U day one. Now fourteen months later my gamepad doesn't work properly. I called up Nintendo and say say it'll cost me 185 usd to get the problem fixed. I look online for trouble shooting and find that alot of other people are having the same problem! I'm a really big Nintendo fan and this problem is really bumming me out. Anybody have any tips? The fix would put my Wii U purchase at five hundred thirty five usd after almost one year. Zero fun.
Make sure your wireless router isn't too close to the Wii U, i.e. right next/or on top of it. Make sure your router doesn't have 5Ghz mode enabled. Think if there may be any other wireless interference from other sources.
Very true. I had this problem until I moved my router away from my Wii U. Great now and has pretty awesome wireless compared to some of my other equipment btw. But it can't be too close.
Wow never heard of this happening. That sucks, usually Nintendo hardware is solid. I'm sure you have tired everything. How about trying to replace / reattach the sensor bar? If you have an old wii, that one should work with WiiU. Not sure what else you could do? All I know is that all systems have issues. I bought a brand new PS3 from Target a month ago, and it did not work at all straight out of the box. It's like rolling the dice.
There hardware isn't as reliable as everyone makes it out to be just one quick google search will prove that. ;)
Welcome to the day and age where any spotty herbert who can register a domain and wordpress account can call themselves a 'games journalist'. Factual stories aren't the only things the modern-day games 'journo' can go without; but an above grade school level of English and grammar skill is also optional.
I just completed a survey for Nintendo customer service in the end I wrote, why are all these Wii U gamepads malfunctioning? If the deal is I pay three hundred fifty usd and then pay one hundred eighty five dollars fourteen months later I don't want any part of it. With (my beloved) Mario Kart 8 being released in May I feel like I want to put my Wii U in a box and go buy a PS4 which makes me sick to my stomach. Please Nintendo stick by your products. Look at my posts I frickin' love Nintendo and that what makes me so sad with this situation. Red Ring of Death Nintendo style. Damn.
Unfortunately Sh*t happens bro. It sucks for sure. What is the warranty period for WiiU? I owned my 3DS XL for well over a year, and it formed broken pixels in the middle of the screen and they replaced it free of charge no questions asked... I think you should keep trying with them? Or try to make a deal or something. Good luck.
Your full of bs.
nothing against you but I think you just spreading bad news, I had a problem with my Gamepad, well I thought it was the gamepad it was the charging plug, they ask me to send it in and they did not charge me for anything and I didnt have warranty.
Lol! This isn't an agree or disagree situation here. Like I said read my comments I am a Nintendo fan.
Dude click on my comments and see that I am a diehard fan of Nintendo I'm just havin' a technical problem here. If you're sayin' I'm full of shit please in God's green Earth tell me how!
Dur. Click on my name and read my comments. It's all right there! You're just bustin' my chops right?
I put it like this. This article is positive then you burst in with how your gamepad doesn't work. Come on man it's not a article about the game pad. I bought mine on day one and have great games for it. I boot mine up once a day and have no issues. hell as a matter of fact I just stepped out of my apartment and it work fine. I think if you support the console you don't do what you did.
Ahh, I didn't realise he was an unhinged troll... I genuinely thought he wanted help... obviously not! I'll have to update my Weird Trolls Most Wanted database.
Now you know how it is when you legitimately criticize Nintendo on here. Is it worth defending them so much? Only to be labeled a troll or a hater at the smallest criticism ;)
