5 More 'Definitive Editions' We Want to Play

James O'Connor of MMGN: Having now released the ‘Definitive Edition’ of the eleven month old Tomb Raider on the Xbox One and the PS4, Square Enix can now rightly claim to be publishing the best game available for either system (until Rayman Legends hits, at least).

With this in mind I’ve scoured over my gaming collection to see which games I’d happily replay on the new machines. This isn’t a simple question of quality – there are plenty of great games that probably wouldn’t benefit from these new consoles, but we feel like these games would be well worth replaying. (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

I would have to say that the "Definitive Editions" are kind of like when they put console games on the PC but just call them the "PC/Mac" versions.
I know they have to give it a catchy new word to sell it but for crying loud just go next gen from the get go!
(I know its a cash grab to make us buy twice.)

and replaying? no, some of those games are crap IMO.

Yeah I would rather have new installments of those ips or new ips built from the ground up for the hardware.

The Last Of Us
GTA5
Skyrim makes a lot of sense with all the DLC

orange box isn't gonna happen just because its old games and Valve isn't really known for doing these things.

Left for dead 1-2 on next gen and LFD3?

Mass Effect Trilogy with all the DLC

I'd rather they just focus their games on new-gen from the start. Doing this just takes development time away from new projects. I don't want any multi-gen games either. It should just be PS4, X1, and PC when they wanna make the top notch. I'm not saying they shouldn't support the old consoles by any means, but they shouldn't gimp the new games because of it. I also don't wanna pay full price for Tomb Raider with a face-lift when I can get last years model for less than $20. They should've at least gave her a boob-job for the money they're charging.
I'm a cheap date, what can I say

I bet we'll see a Gears trilogy pack on one Blu-Ray disc for Xbox One to catch players up for the release of Gears of War 4.

GTA V and The Last of Us would make my list, and I would replay both on PS4. I'm not fussed about any others - bring on the NEW next-gen games.

I would honestly rather have these developers working on brand new things. If we all kept asking for Next gen versions we most likely would be playing Uncharted 1 "Definitive" Rather than "The last of us" These guys need to move forward.
Once they are finished they can go back to the old games.
