How to: Play GBA Games on your Android Device

Did you know as long as you have an Android device, whether it’s a smartphone or tablet, you have access to just about every Game Boy Advance game ever made? Best of all, you can get these games for free, just by downloading an emulator from the Google Play Store. It’s really easy to set up, and if you aren’t sure how to go about doing it, just follow this simple guide and you’ll be playing your favorite GBA titles on your Android device in no time. (Android, Mobile)

Been doing this for years. Only recommend it for games like FF and Pokemon. Mario, Zelda, Metroid not so much, controls aren't up to par.

I would agree with FF, Pokemon, and Zelda but I found it much too hard personally to play mario on it, though I'm sure their is a learning curve I decided to just scrap it.

I have my PS4 controller connected to my Android Tablet.

I use MyBoyFree and GBC A.D.

Sonic and Mario is quite tough to play but Pokémon is ideal. Metroid Zero Mission takes a bit of getting used to.

Is there anyway to do this on iPhone? I used to have it, but it's gone now. I think it was from GitHub of something. Would love to play Yu-Gi-Oh! Stairway to the Destined Duel again. Loved that game when I was younger.

Lol. Did this really need an article? Especially on how to bootleg games.

I've been doing this for 5 years. And I've been playing NES, SNES, GB, GBA, GEN, GAMEGEAR, and even N64 games!

Anything turn based or card based without much movement works best

Why would anyone want to play these games with a virtual joystick?
tigertron  +   738d ago
because old Gameboy games like Pokémon only require a virtual d-pad.

Just buy one of these game controller to attach on, every game plays just fine.
