Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare split-screen co-op is exclusive to Xbox One

Battle for brainz in Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare split screen CO-OP or Boss Mode exclusive to Xbox One Kinect and SmartGlass.

Brian Lindley, producer for Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare talks about split screen co-op being exclusive to Xbox One, and how it pits two plants against wave after wave of zombie invasion in the ultimate battle for brainz.

Players will have a variety of choices when it comes to customising their plants; such as the Ice Peashooter and the Fire Cactus. These variations also give special abilities, like the Fire Cactus' ability to deal additional fire damage on enemies.

The story is too old to be commented.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Wasn't sure what to expect with this, but the vid sums it up nicely. Surprisingly deep. Will finally give me an excuse to bust out that second controller. There really aren't enough split screen co-op games lately.

Completely agree. Not enough coop games. This is one that looks to be fun, perhaps not 34 dollars fun but still looks fun.

I game tested it a year ago at ea, it was brilliantly fun. We played just the rush type mode and it was fantastic

This is shaping up to be one BIG FUN surprise. Look forward to this game. Love the variety and options.

Looks like a fun ge, but splitscreen only on one platform? It's hardly a very demanding game.

I'm 99% sure they're just referring to release platforms (Xbone, PC, tablets?, etc.). Obviously when the game releases on PS4, it'll have split screen too.
