Shenmue 3 on PS4 might just happen. See just how important Shenmue 3 could be for the PlayStation 4 and gaming in general.
I'll admit i never played shenmue till about 5 years ago or so.When i picked a Dreamcast at my local swapmeet with both games for $45.After playing through both all i can say is "BRING IT SONY"!!!!! Let's hope we see something on PS4. Edit:Here's a video explaining why Shenmue is only possible on PS4. http://youtu.be/rmu-l51VYTQ
I was just going to post that Adam Koralik video, but you beat me to the punch. He did a really great, comprehensive job with that. Shenmue post-mortem with Yu Suzuki and Mark Cerny at GDC 2014 - is the perfect time to announce HD remasters of the first 2 games for PS4. Shenmue HD in 2014. Shenmue II HD in 2015. Shenmue III in 2016. Sony would be the company more willing to take a risk and fund it, than I think Sega have been for the past 10 years, but nothing has come of it. HD ports are low risk propositions, and that still won't happen off Sega's own back. There is literally no time like the present, for Sony to get involved and make it happen.
if they make it i want them to remake evdrything, maybe even split it in chapters.. i really wanted to play chapter 2.
I don't want to, but I have high hopes for something PS4/Shenmue info come GDC 2014. I would even settle for a wink* they are working on such a project. They will be talking about the development of Shenmue at GDC 2014, but why?! After so many years, why now, especially along side Mark Cerny - System Architect of the PS4? It is near, I can sense it's impending epic...
whats up with all these shenmue articles? they really need to stop... i may actually get hyped and believe that 3 is in the making once again. i think all shenmue fans want these stupid articles to stop because we can't handle another big dissapointment. remember how everyone thought it was coming to ps3/360 at the beginning of last gen. we even had people with trustworth rumors saying game was in production.
